Pearl Jam's Vitalogy Turns 18


Pearl Jam's third album Vitalogy is now legally able to vote. Released on December 6th 1994 (Technically it was released on vinyl on Nov 22, 1994), Vitalogy, originally titled "Life" included the radio hits Better Man, Corduroy, Tremor Christ, and Not For You.  In it's first week of cd sales, Vitalogy sold 877,000 copies according to Soundscan. It is certified 5x platinum by the RIAA. Spin the Black Circle the first single released from the album won the 1996 Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance, the band's first and only Grammy win. Vitalogy was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Rock Album
