On October 19, 1993. Pearl Jam released their second album 'Vs'. Selling a then record 950,000 copies in it's debut week. With hits like Daughter, Rearviewmirror, Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town, Dissident, and Animal. There was no sophomore slump. And showed they would be around a little longer after their debut album 'Ten'.
