General Hospital Turns 50 Years Old

On April 1, 2013, General Hospital celebrates it's 50th year in the soap opera world. The show that gave us power couples as Luke and Laura, Sonny and Brenda, Anna and Robert Scorpio. Heartthrobs and sex symbols too many to name. Families like the Quartermaines, Scorpios, and Spencers, among others. And many fun storylines. Here's hoping for another 50 years and more.

Now that you know why New Yorkers are always drinking from one, you should get your own We Are Happy To Serve You Ceramic Cup. It's a cultural icon!
