New York Yankee Great Mariano Rivera Likely Out for the Season With a Torn ACL

While doing his usual routine of catching fly balls during batting practice. Mariano Rivera landed awkwardly and at first was thought to have twisted his knee. An MRI later showed a torn ACL. More tests will be done in New York. But the feeling is he will most likely be done for the season. Rivera is in his final year of his contract in what many seemed to think would have been his last.  I myself think he comes back next season so he can dictate how he leaves the sport of baseball. A sure Hall of Famer he would not want to leave this way.
