Pearl Jam's Yield Is 20 Years Old






On Feb 3, 1998, Pearl Jam released Yield. Giving us classics like Given to Fly, Do The Evolution, Faithfull, and In Hiding. It debuted on the Billboard 200 at number 2 with sale 358,000 copies sold.  Prior to the release of "Yield". Prior to the release of the album, Pearl Jam did a pirate radio broadcast called Monkey Wrench Radio . They also made a documentary of the making of Yield called Single Video Theory. Directed by Mark Pellington and produced by Cameron Crowe, Below is a trailer for Single Video Theory. To this date, Yield is the last Pearl Jam studio album to reach platinum status by the RIAA.

Jay-Z Joins Pearl Jam to Perform 99 Problems/W.M.A. At The Made In America Festival (VIDEO)


Jay Z joined Pearl Jam's epic performance at the Made In America festival started by Jay Z himself. Both headliners, Jay Z on Saturday and Pearl Jam on Sunday collaborated on 99 Problems with Pearl Jam's W.M.A. (White Male American) to the delight and I'm sure dismay of fans.
