A few years ago I was walking up 6th avenue in Manhattan. As I crossed the street on 32nd street. A woman coming of out of the train station slipped and fell. I go to her and offer her my helping hand. She reaches for it, but out of nowhere another man's hand enters the picture. She then grabs his hand and he lifts her up. And I'm thinking in my mind "What the fuck?" Felt like tripping her just so I could be the one to pick her up. But I didn't. So there's that.
